RinkShift Launcher 1.0 — Gridtex LLC

Download RinkShiftSetup.exe from https://downloads.gridtex.ai/ and run it.
The launcher installs for your Windows user and adds a desktop shortcut.
Choose Online Playtest for the current multiplayer build, or Gameplay Preview
for the newest single-player changes. Click INSTALL. After installation use PLAY.

The launcher checks for updates at startup. UPDATE downloads missing content
and verifies it before switching versions. CANCEL keeps your installed game
and caches completed download chunks. Run UPDATE again to resume.
REPAIR verifies/reconstructs the current release. RESTORE PREVIOUS verifies and
reactivates the previous installed version. Only one previous version per
channel is retained. Launcher updates are installed by rerunning the latest
RinkShiftSetup.exe with the launcher closed.

Game content: %LOCALAPPDATA%\RinkShift\games
Launcher: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\RinkShift Launcher
Saves/settings remain in the game's existing Unity user-data location.
Removing downloaded game content does not remove those saves.
The game remains a standalone application and does not require the launcher
when later distributed through Steam.

Offline: when update checks fail, PLAY remains available for an installed game.
Multiplayer still requires an internet connection and a compatible live server.

An update requires temporary disk space for staging and its download cache.
Close the game before updating or restoring a version.
Keep the launcher closed while reinstalling/updating the launcher itself.

This first playtest installer is not Windows Authenticode-signed. Update
manifests are separately RSA-signed and all game content is SHA-256 verified.
